Term 1, Week 3. Topic: Video/ Movie

One of my favorite movie is the Ip Man. The movie is adapted from the life story of Ip Man, which is the grand master of the Wing Chun style Kung Fu and master of the Kung Fu superstar, Bruce Lee. In the movie, he is a humble guy who is ready to offer any help when people are in need. Although the WuShu schools in the southern and northern part of China were fighting to become the top school, Ip Man continue to have friendly match with other practitioners. Although there were bad nationalistic feelings and racial hatred between Japanese and China, Ip Man continue to respected the Japanese Kung Fu warriors. Up to now, there is no movies or publications about Ip Man exists. Ip Man's passionate towards WuShu is a ideal example to the practitioners of WuShu.

Growth Day is the day when every student is school set their own targets for the rest of the year. There will be no lesson during that day, as some activities is being planned by the teachers. This year, the theme for the year was, "Beyond Bridging Gaps." The activity for this year is unique. Each class have to create a video, having one of the habits of mind being practice. There is a total of sixteen habits of mind. Each class is allocated one habit of mind to convey in the video. The habit of mind that my class is being allocated was "Responding with Wonderment and Awe." Although our class video might not be the best, but everyone work hard together to produced the best effort that we can show.
